Measuring Your Ear Gear to Find the Right Size Ear Gear

Find out how to measure your hearing instrument and match it to the correct size of Ear Gear.

Place the base of the hearing aid at zero on the ruler and measure to the top of the curve as shown here.

Generally, the way to choose an Ear Gear size for your hearing aid is by these guidelines: 

Hearing Aids up to 1 inch (2.5 cm) - use Ear Gear Micro

Hearing Aids between 1 - 1.25 inches (2.5 - 3.2 cm) - use Ear Gear Mini

Hearing Aids between 1.25 - 2 inches (3.2 - 5.0 cm) - use Ear Gear Original

Hearing Aids between 2 - 3 inches (5.0 - 7.6 cm) - use Ear Gear FM

Use the Ear Gear Cochlear.

For Nucleus 7, Opus 2, Medel Sonnet, and AB Naida Processors... 

Use the Ear Gear Cochlear M1.
